Glass Pet Doors
We supply and install pet doors into custom cut panels out of toughened safety glass. We know how much you care for your pets and that’s why our pet doors are made from high quality and durable clear plastic and are specifically designed for installation into glass panels.
We apply industry best standards when manufacturing and the installing all dog doors, cat doors and cat flaps putting the safety of your family and pets first.
Gawler Glass and Glazing use toughened safety glass. This glass can’t be cut once toughened. What this means is that the hole needed for the installation of the pet door has to be cut into the glass prior to the glass going through the toughening process. You cannot cut a pet door hole cut into existing toughened glass panels, such as laundry doors so some glass may require.
Dimensions
All you need to do is measure the height and width of the glass that you can see in the glass panel to be replaced. Try and get the most accurate measurements which means you’ll receive a more accurate quote.
These are also some things to consider before getting your quote:
Indicate if the panel where your pet door is clear, tinted, obscured, patterned or double glazed glass
We will also need to know what the type of frame holding the glass is as this will need to be factored into the quote.
Another item to consider is the size required i.e large, medium, small. Also consider that your pet may still be growing.
